Synopsis
A socially anxious guy goes to a party and is sucked into multiple odd situations. Every time he tries to act in the situations, things tend to take a turn for the worse. Going from simple scenarios to outrageous "is this real life" scenarios, we are left to wonder whether any of this is actually happening, or it's all in our character's head.

Inspiration
The general atmosphere of a college party. From the perspective of a socially anxious main character, I tapped into what would it feel like for him to be at a party where he is left to his own vices to get him through the party. Pulling inspiration from This Actually Happens A Lot, I took the feeling, pulled it back and manipulated it to satisfy my idea of a socially awkward person at a party.

Backgrounds/Environment
The outside of the party will look like any other house on any Greek Row at any college one would go to. It keeps the grounded aspect of the story. Beginning with this environment and ending with it keeps the viewer in a reality. However, inside the house, there will be a mixture of flashing lights and liquid colors blending to not only simulate what someone sees when going through a party (honestly think how hard it is to see in one of those places), but also make a sort of dream sequence, pulling the viewer out of reality and into a world that anything could happen, like a mouth falling off of a person.

Backgrounds will not be shown in rough animation renders. The house will be composited with a mixture of vector art and photoshop texture.
